Not the best
Loved the two TV series but this dragged on too much for me. Not sure the screenplay worked as well as a story. Shame!

Even Better than the Series!
I didn’t know what to expect but this lived up to and beyond anything I could’ve hoped for from the sequel to Home fires on TV. I love the series on TV and I was so shocked and sad when it was discontinued. I am so glad that this book is in existence. It is gripping, exciting, heartfelt, tear jerking, and uplifting.

Lovely story but........!
Narration was dire. But it's a nice wee story, and as I was expecting without a proper ending. So I'm still left wondering what happens to Pat!!!

A brilliant read
Lots of drama and compelling characters. I wasn't a fan of the constantly switching perspectives though. I would have preferred it if they had one characters perspective for each chapter rather than multiple characters per chapter.

Loved every minute
I loved the show when it was on tv and was gutted when it got axed, then I heard about this book, it took me right back to the show. I really hope there are more of these books to come,I loved every minute of it.

Highly Recommend
This was so good, I loved the TV series and was so annoyed when it was cancelled, the book took me straight back there and every scene played out in my head - I hope there will be more

Keep the Home fires burning
Love the story as I did the series on TV. Felt knew the charactors already. Narration was pleasant but the times went into a whisper made it awkward look forward to the nxt book thank you
