The story line involving Sybil, Rosie, Ronnie and Sally

I thought the faked suicide of Edith Mann was too far fetched, even though she wanted to start a new life with a new identity. I have read 3 books of this series so far and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I would have liked Zelda to have been mentioned in this one, as she lives in a cottage nearby, married to Farmer Arkwright's Son. Just going to start the 4th and final book in this series.

Helen Lloyd

I enjoy these books so much but I wish the Helen Lloyd didn't read them. Her voice is too deep & mature for the young characters. She's a good reader for more serious mature stories. It's too late now as the books are done.

Enthralled from start to finish

Daisy Styles weaves her characters in such a way they become real and you become invested in their future, so you have to keep listening and there is always a surprise.

Feels unfinished

Like the second book in this series there are 'holes' in this segment, what's worse is it feels unfinished.
There are characters in the 2nd book that you feel would become part of the whole story series, and you feel you want to know what happens to them next, but there is no reference to them.
As to the end it feels like it just finishes, no rounding up like previously, no conclusion to some of the threads, hopefully these will be tied of in the next book.
Just doesn't have the Daisy Styles polish I've felt in previous works.
