✨dual narration✨
I really enjoyed this one! In terms of listening this offers a different experience with the accent, it just enhances everything these two have to offer!
Reading it myself, it’s easy to forget the Irish roots, but with this it’s like a constant reminder and I think that made me love it even more ❤️🔥👏🏼

Great book!
This book isn’t for everyone, I will start by saying that… however, I did like it. I love Jane Henry and her writing style. She writes great mafia romance!
This book is about an Irish mafia romance and it’s about Keenan, who is about to be the king of his mob when his father finally steps down and retires. There is a list of things that need to be addressed and a lot of work to be put in place before that happens. While waiting, he meets a woman named Caitlin.
Caitlin is a very sheltered, naive, clueless girl. She has set her eyes on Keenan and will stop at nothing to seduce him. These two couldn’t be any more different, to be honest. She’s innocent and sweet and he is dark and dangerous, but for some strange reason they are drawn to each other and their chemistry is undeniable and intense. As innocent as Caitlin is, she still gives Keenan a run for his money and it’s fun to read, it made me laugh at times! Will these two be able to navigate their messy lives and have a future together? Can Keenan keep Caitlin safe and protect her from harm?
Highly recommend reading this!

Brilliant!!
Love this series!! I’m on book 3 now and each book has pulled me in and immersed me in their world. Kaitlin is naive and innocent but she brings out the soft in Keenan, without too much angst. Loving that there are references to the Dom lifestyle, but it’s not the main focus in any of the books so far. It’s all about the relationship and how the women come to fall in love with their men, and just accepting them as they are without trying to change them. There are scenes of spanking but to be honest they are few and far between.
Wen and Kai do a good job with the accents, although they are slightly off (I’m married to an Irish man), it’s really not overly noticeable. Their narration is exceptional and I really glad they are doing the whole series!!

Brilliant
This is a fantastic if not brutal family. The characters are written very well and don’t lose their selves as they progress through the book. I’m hoping there is a lot more books to come to cover all these great characters. A wonderful performance from both Kai and Wen.

Good but not great
A good story but rubbish Irish accents. I struggled to listen at first but managed to ignore the bad accents and I will listen to others in the series …….. possibly

Gotta love the Irish
Let me say that Jane Henry’s mafia men are so damn swoon worthy and this is going to be a really hot series full of alpha dominate men who will have all of us swooning.
Caitlin is one naive young woman who finds herself alone, afraid and starving when she is found by Keenan. She is surprising strong because what she goes through is so much yet she handles it all with grace and strength. Kai is amazing as the strong willed Caitlin.
Wen’s Irish is awesome and he plays the clans brotherhood to swoon worthy perfection. I’m so excited for more of this series and started on another audiobook in the series so now I’m going to start again.
Everyone who loves an Irish accent will love this domineering clan I am sure!
I received this audiobook at my request and this is only my honest opinion.

Keenan
It took a bit for me to come into the story. And Caitlins description of her upbringing was a bit strange.
But otherwise I enjoyed Keenans and Caitlins story.

Great series starter…engaging audio!!!
Audiobook review: Narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross
5 stars for story / 5 stars for performance
I highly enjoyed the clan feeling of this world Jane Henry has created. The story is also quite unique with Caitlin, our heroine, having been cut off from the world by her "father". When he dies, she spends a month going through her food reserves until she is found and captured by Keenan under the suspicion of being a spy. I really appreciated that common sense prevails in this story and she quickly goes from prisoner to guest. There are several secrets unraveled and quite a bit of excitement and drama that unfolds making this a "page-turner". Plenty of high emotion to get your heat pumping as well. I'm so glad we have several more books as the side characters / brothers / clan members are going to be fun to follow.
I thoroughly enjoyed the narration on this audio as well. I was mesmerized by Wen Ross's voice (I'm a sucker for a foreign accent). He did such an amazing job distinctly voicing each male character and there was no issue for me in keeping track during large group conversations. Kai Kennicott's voice is so angelic and fit Caitlin's character and personality to a tee. These two did such an amazing job and know I will jump on any audio I see with these two attached in the future.
I highly recommend this on audio!!
