About this listen

I like the idea of the women in history series
To be honest, the only things I knew about her were that she came from a wealthy family, was married to JFK, and was considered a fashion icon. This biography, of course, went well beyond that information. I was particularly interested in reading about her childhood as well as her life after the President's assassination. It's clear that the author really did his research to make this book as informative as possible.

New views of jacks and pekes
lovely book most appreciated for sympathetic view of lee Captivating History, treating her talents and skills with appreciation and insight. especially recommended for those who thought they had already read it all about the sisters, jacks and pekes, and their complex relationship.

This is my first book on Jackie.
There were a few little editing things throughout this book but they were barely noticeable. This book really renewed my interest in biographies so I'm really looking forward to the next book in the women in history series.

Jacqueline Kennedy was different.
Well written, in story style that helped solidify these two people as more than historical figures but flesh and blood beings much like us!

One Special Life for history lovers
Jackie led a life with as much ups and downs as a roller coaster A product of divorce, and deep tragedy, she carved out an amazing life for herself. What I enjoyed most about this book was that it showed how much her sister Lee was a part of her life. For once she was not a footnote as she is in a lot of Jackie's biographies.
