About this listen

From the mind of acclaimed horror author Phillip Wolf comes a twisted story about the secrets held within the walls of an abandoned mansion. The line between reality and nightmare blurs, and the true nature of what lies beneath Whitlock Manor may be far more disturbing than ever imagined.

When rumors circulate within a small Texas town about strange events happening at Whitlock Manor, Jack Stinger is determined to investigate. Disturbing phenomena occur when he and his friends trespass on the property, and a horrifying secret emerges.

Teens mysteriously become missing, and Jack believes the abandoned mansion is to blame. Turning to his older brother for help, Jack convinces Victor that the house is haunted, which leads to a challenge because Victor has always scoffed at the supernatural.

Packed with exciting action, dynamic characters, shocking plot twists, and plenty of terror, Jack Stinger and the Haunting of Whitlock Manor is perfect for fans of acclaimed authors Stephen King and Neal Shusterman and ideal for those who enjoy horror, ghost stories, and science fiction.

Goonies meets Stranger Things

Engaging story. Good to read a book that focuses on kids being kids and getting out there and having adventures! Not sure I would have headed back to Whitlock Manor more than once!
Would definitely recommend. Great narration.

Entertaining and different

This story did not develop how I expected it to. Some high schoolers investigating a haunted house which then went on a different direction and that is all I will say. The story was entertaining, well written and enjoyable to all readers teenage and above, as a 58 year old I am not the target audience but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Good characters, exciting action, and just enough gruesomeness to keep the teenager entertained. Phillip Wolf is an accomplished writer and Colin White does a great job with the narration. I hope there will be more as the ending left room for a sequel. I received a complimentary copy from the Author and am leaving a honest voluntary review
