Tanta has trained all her young life for this. Her very first mission is a code red: to take her team into the unaffiliated zone just outside InTech's borders and retrieve a stolen hard drive. It should have been quick and simple, but a surprise attack kills two of her colleagues and Tanta barely makes it home alive.

Determined to prove herself and partnered with a colleague whose past is a mystery even to himself, Tanta's investigation uncovers a sinister conspiracy that makes her question her own loyalties and the motives of everyone she used to trust.

Introducing a razor-sharp debut SF thriller, INSCAPE holds a mirror up to our own reality by exploring just where our sinister corporation-led world might lead us. For fans of Bladerunner 2049, Mr Robot or 84K by Claire North.

Absolutely incredible!

I'm blown away. The writing is spectacular. the characters so deep, layered, and complex, its hard to predict where this is going. This expertly crafted story held my attention. I simply could not stop listening! The world is very intriguing. I often found myself questioning how I'd fare in a world such as this, and it's not so far outside the realms of possibility, given the way technology is advancing. Which makes this all the more fascinating of a read. Cannot fault it at all. I wish the series was longer, as I really love this world that's been set up, and really enjoy the dynamics between Tanta and Cole. as well as beibg very intrigued by Yas. I'm excited to get stuck into the next book. I'd definitely recommend picking it up.

amazing. thoroughly recommend.

Having read Mike Carey for years I thought I'd give his daughter a whirl. So glad I did. Totally brilliant and I'd recommend. (great narrator too)

An excellent debut

Wow what an excellent debut book perfectly narrated by Ellen Keeley. It flowed smoothly from start to finish. Louise Carey is definitely on my radar and will be keeping my eye out for future releases. And I've just been on Louise's website and realised this is part of a trilogy which will explain the way it ended. I'm excited about book 2 and hope the wait isn't too long.

Very good!

I thought I saw the twists/ending in advance which is usually enough for me to lose interest but the writing was so good I had to keep listening, and I had the jist but was pleasantly surprised to be wrong on the details. It's an excellent book and I very much hope there will be more of them.
