Summary
Clean Christian small town slice-of-life with romance.
For two years, Sammi Morretti has cared for her housebound grandfather. Now he's gone, and she's left with no place to go. Then a mysterious aunt invites her to work at a tiny bed-and-breakfast in the town of Wimber. Can the Main Street women and a kind youth pastor with a dangerous history pull Sammi out of the darkness she's lived in for so long?

Overcoming life struggles.
Inn Dependence (Miss Main Street #3) by Angela C. Castillo
Narrated by J. Grace Pennington
I received a copy from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sammi a young woman had spent the last two years living with and caring for her grandfather who suffers with dementia before he dies. Due to hs illness he undergoes personality changes and unfortunately Sammi is on the receiving end most of the time. After his death she is left emotionally scarred, troubled by anxiety and panic attacks etc.
Now alone, confused, having not spoken to her mother for about a year, questions begin to pile up and she becomes overwhelmed not knowing what to do next.
She is quickly thrown a lifeline from an Aunt Lorinda who she soon learns owns a small hotel in the town of Wimbur. She could use help and also seems to understand the internal struggle that Sammi is experiencing, offering her a place to stay and also to work at the inn if Sammi feels up to it.
So she embarks on her new path in life, meeting the ladies of Main Street who are also included in the other books written by Angela Castillo. Not only does Sammi become involved with the day-to-day life in Wimbur but she soon becomes acquainted with Grayson, the local youth pastor who just happens to be young and single.
This is the third book in the Miss Main Street series, a Christian fiction romance. Sammi has her struggles to overcome and is helped by the new life she ultimately fights to have, being helped and supported by her Aunt, the local ladies and Grayson. This book is a feel-good story but I didn't quite understand the issue that Sammi has with her parents intially and the rift between them. This didn't distract me from the main theme of the book and the life changes Sammi makes, proving that with perseverance obstacles can be overcome.
The audiobook is narrated by J.Grace Pennington as are the others in the series, who manages to paint a clear picture vocally of this little town of Wimbur and the group of shop-owners who are ready to help each other out in times of need.
