Summary
The brand-new novel from Sunday Times best-selling author Carrie Hope Fletcher.
Luna Lark used to love her name, but that was before people started saying it differently.
I'm so sorry, Luna.
Are you alright, Luna?
Everything will be okay, Luna.
Luna doesn't want pity, what she wants is a fresh start. Somewhere she can make headway on her next novel, mend her broken heart and - most importantly - keep herself to herself.
For that Luna needs the most remote place she can find: Ondingside, a magical little island off the wild coast of Scotland. And when the town is cut off on her first night by a freak July snowstorm it feels like fate.
But Luna soon realises that being a newcomer in a small town might not be the best way to blend in. People are curious about her - handsome, kind, coffee shop owner Beau in particular. Will history repeat itself or will they have a future?
Powerful, magical and utterly romantic, In the Time We Lost is an unforgettable love story that will take your breath away. Perfect for fans of Paige Toon and Giovanna Fletcher.

Very enjoyable!
Scottish accents, a mystery and a romance. Its completely up my street! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the repeat of chapters was confusing when I was listening to it. It also felt like it took ages to get to the exciting final chapters. Overall it is well read with great characters and storyline. Definitely recommend if you fancy an engaging story with a bit of mystery and romance.

Quirky, but not in a good way.
Kathleen McCarron did a cracking job of narrating a story based in “Scotland”, not that I doubted she would.
The story though, I just didn’t gel with the main character. There wasn’t ever a conclusion to the cause of the “phenomenon” and it stank of the 1980’s film Big.
I have loved CHF’s previous books as being a bit quirky, a bit “Cecelia Aherne” but I really struggled to finish this one. It was slightly silly, repetitive and didn’t flow. Sorry but this one didn’t hit the mark.

I was addicted to finding out what happened next
To begin with I questioned myself thinking I was hearing a repeat but obviously the story was changing , that’s the point. And when I figured that out I couldn’t put it down, I loved it. I love the narration too. Brilliant and definitely worth getting !

Too much information!!!
Strange and far fetched...It seemed most of the story was phycoanalising the lead character which for me became frustrating and a little tireing, left me quite exhausted.

Such a beautiful story
I loved it once I understood that it repeated the days and my app wasn’t malfunctioning.
Great bittersweet twist, will try another of her books for sure.
