Summary

Everything you were taught about evolution is wrong. In this shocking book, Berkeley-educated doctor of biology Jonathan Wells lets you in on scientific discoveries you won't learn about from college and high-school textbooks - and reveals a dirty little secret known only to some of his fellow biologists.

The best-known "icons" of evolution - from pictures of apes evolving into humans, to comparisons of fish and human embryos, to moths on tree trunks - are false or misleading. For decades, biology students have been taught things about evolution that are simply untrue.

These icons of evolution appear even in the most recent textbooks, although the scientific literature is full of evidence that they are false. Apparently, dogmatic promoters of Darwinian evolution fear that without these icons, public faith in their claims will disappear, so they knowingly misinform our children and suppress scientific evidence.

evolution lovers

If you love science and the theory of evolution, this is required reading. These days it is becoming clearer and clearer for me just how corrupt and deceiving large parts of the science have become. There are many things to love about Evolutionary theory, but just like Newton before us and the Einsteinien revolution. I think Neodarwinism in particular, is due for a major overhaul.

Surprisingly confronting

We all know those examples from our biology books. Even though i never was really interested in biology, i still remember those examples that Jonathan Wells uses in these books. Confronting to find out that such discredited examples of 'proof' are still used in education to this day.

This book could change your World View!

Excellent stimulating read. Clearly demonstrates the fraudulence sustaining many of evolution's most cherished icons. An appeal for researchers to try to stop interpreting every area of biology through the keyhole of evolutionary theory and to open the door and take a wider view of the world. It was distressing to see how much dishonesty there has been in the promotion of evolutionary dogmas and how this is still continuing.

Excellent

I have a BSc Masters and a Doctorate in Science and yet have never been told of the lies and fraud that are the best evidence for evolution. shocking how peer review has so completely failed to eradicate this ridiculous dogma.
