Summary
Detective Lt. Joe Kenda, star of Homicide Hunter, shares his deepest, darkest, and never before revealed case files from his 19 years as a homicide detective.
Are you horrified yet fascinated by abhorrent murders? Do you crave to know the gory details of these crimes, and do you seek comfort in the solving of the most gruesome?
In I Will Find You, the star of Homicide Hunter, Lt. Joe Kenda, shares his deepest, darkest, and never-before-revealed case files from his two decades as a homicide detective and reminds us that crimes like these are very real and can happen even in our own backyards.
Gruesome, macabre, and complex cases.
Joe Kenda investigated 387 murder cases during his 23 years with the Colorado Springs Police Department and solved almost all of them. And he is ready to detail the cases that are too gruesome to air on television, cases that still haunt him, and the few cases where the killer got away. These cases are horrifyingly real, and the detail is so mesmerizing you won't be able to turn it off.
The tales in I Will Find You will shock you like the best horror stories - divulging insights into the actions, motivations, and proclivities of nature's most dangerous species.
Don't mind the blood.

Pretty cool if you like true crime.
I quite enjoy true crime and for the most part I enjoyed this book. Lt Kenda doesn’t have the best voice but I appreciate him telling his own story.

Better Than The Series
More detailed and personal than the TV show, with plenty of Joe’s trademark humour and cynicism. We even get to ‘meet’ Mrs Kenda and the kids. Finished it in one session and will probably listen again.

A gift for the listeners..
....if you have that kind of soul that 'gets it' in relating to the mindset of cops and paramedics...and the wonderfully warped survivalist sense of humor...this is a must listen.
By the end, you wish for book 2, read by joe...BUT if you get it, yo u understand PTSD and what these brave men and women live thru and so, I will just listen again...for the 3rd time...and pray Joe and Mary are well and wish them whatever they wish for...

Compelling
Joe Kenda is such a great with a dry humour you can't help but love. His life is interesting and you're quickly sucked in straight from the very beginning when he starts telling his story. Now I need to get my hands on the next one!

Capturing read
Audio book in Lt Joe Kenda’s voice with no filter, was a really good listen.
Found out about aspects of his life and career which aren’t televised. His PTSD description, cases and other things captured my time and I literally finished the audiobook in less than two days.
