About this listen

He came. He saw. He conquered.

The Scourge killed two-thirds of the world's population and gave rise to a singular post-apocalyptic hero.

Now, for the first time, experience The Traveler series through the words of the saga's protagonist, Marcus Battle.

Told from his perspective, and digitally transcribed from his personal collection of journals, these texts give new insight into his actions, his humor, his regrets, and his faith.

The journals contain never-before-read stories of survival as Battle navigated the lonely landscape of a post-Scourge world and a fresh take on the highlights of the eight novel series that enthralled preparedness and survivalist fans across the globe.

It is perfect for listeners of Franklin Horton, Kyla Stone, Jack Hunt, and Nicholas Sansbury Smith.

A beautiful prelude for the Traveler series.

Tom Abrahams have done a beautiful job writing a prelude for the Traveler series as a journal by the main character Marcus Battle who as a vet and a prep still lost his wife and child for the pandemic which left him with everything a person would need to live great for many years but very lonely.

Kevin Pierce is a known in the narration community and there is no question about it: he is great !

Tom, Marcus and Kevin = Perfection

I never get tired of this trio, Tom Abrahams is my kind of writer, I loved the Marcus Battle series. This one is almost as good. I say almost because you will never surpass the original Battle series.

Something I find really strange is why Tom Abraham's novels aren't flying off the shelves, they are one of the best apocalyptic series out there. The author deserves all the plaudits he can get.

Kevin Pierce is a brilliant narrator who always does a good job.
The novels themselves are exciting, those who have read the original Battle series will know all about Marcus but if you haven't you can read this series and I can assure you that you will want to read the original books.

Many thanks, Tom, I can't wait for No five.
