great story
get ready for the second silence Jones story, this time he has to investigate the disappearance of a wife but soon gets dragged in to a criminal under ground gang which he needs to sort out

Gripping
Another gripping Silence Jones thriller with plenty of action and good characters. Gary Bennett is superb narrator.

I can not imagine another narrator doing these books. Gary Bennett is perfect, with the gruffness for Silence to the smoothness of all the other characters.
In this great listen, we find Silence is tasked to investigate a missing woman when the only person who seems to think she has not run away is her husband. Things change suddenly when her body is found and it's a clear case of murder.
Their is corruption, action and great twists and turns, an astonishing ending as the murderer is revealed.
I like the ongoing interaction with Si and his blind neighbour Mrs Enfield, and the most drooling cat you will meet.

An exciting read
Another thrilling book in the Silence Jones series which is fast becoming a favourite. Far from invincible this assassin with a heart heads into another mission that proves more complicated than it first seems.
Great story with excellent narration. I can't wait for book 3.
