A modern, black Beauty and The Beast
The first thing I thought about this story line was ‘Beauty and the Beast!’

Narration and character pairing is GREAT!
Really wonderfully put together. This book made me understand when people say that a book was so good they want to experience reading it for the first time again, but I’m sure this one will be great again and again.
