IMPORTANT RESOURCE

I firmly believe emotional intelligence is key to a successful life. I don't just mean financially but in every aspect of life.
It's refreshing to see this kind of information out there.

The author has taken the time to explain what it's like to be a teen and the challenges they face socially and then proceeds to lay out how to deal with these challenges. That is gold!

I love that the goal of this book is to educate adults ( who probably weren't taught emotional intelligence) on raising and assisting children/teens into successful emotionally aware and communicative adults!
Thats how you make the world a better place!

Wish I Had This Sooner!

I picked this up for my teenager, but ended up listening myself—and honestly, where was this when I was at school? It covers real challenges without being patronising or overly dramatic. The advice is actually practical, not just the usual “be yourself” nonsense. Even more shocking—my teen willingly discussed it at dinner! If you want something that genuinely resonates with young people rather than talking down to them, this is absolutely worth a listen.

Looks and Posture Convey Something

I have a teen who is an expert in non-verbal communication. He literally just grants, nods, slouches, shakes his head and throws his arms most of the time. Fortunately, he loves books, so you bet I found a way to forward this one to him. I hope he paid keen attention to the chapter on non-verbal communication. :-) I particularly like that the chapter is unassuming. It takes it from the basics, which I think fits perfectly with the target audience, and then helps the reader to understand why they shouldn't suppress their emotions, and how to discern specific communication in others. I can't recommend this book enough.

A Helpful Guide!

The audiobook is informative on developing social skills and becoming a teen with social skills. It provides helpful tips on developing social skills by selecting tactics to help timid and introverted or shy individuals, which is familiar with young teens. Improving self esteem was well addressed and convesing with others with practical skils that could also help.

Seriously Excellent!

This book is for teens who seriously want to learn the art of communication. Following the advice in this book will help anyone, not just teens. :) You can see the depth and thoroughness that the author provides. It is more than communication. It shows you a way of life. I was delighted to see that respect for others and especially empathy are included. I will recommend this book to my 16 and 14 year old grandchildren.

General roles for teens

If you are facing self complexity fever then this book will help you to come out from self challenges that you are facing in your life.

As a teenager I also have experience with self complexity and at that time I didn't have any kind of motivation but you are lucky because this is a best recommendation for teens empowerment.

This is a powerful resource of communication for your generation and for those who are beginners in their social life. This book is well organized by the author.

Teens Need a Book Like This

Social Skills are crucial to a teen's success in life. Acquiring social skills can get us to desirable places and with desirable people, much faster than rebelling against them or ignoring them. The main areas of social skills are Verbal communication. Nonverbal communication and Social interaction competencies. They increase our ability to advance, the more we are aware of them. I particularly like the area of conflict. It always helps to control my emotions during a conflict when I’m reassured first. When I’m told something like, “I understand where you’re coming from, and vice versa. It can have the effect of immediately bringing calm to a situation, or stepping away to continue resolving the situation later. There is so much to social skills and it doesn’t hurt to revisit them from time to time either. Personally, this book reminds me of the areas in which I can improve my behavior, and I’m an adult. Highly Productive Teens with mad social skills will help teens become better communicators therefore more productive, master their social skills, and master their lives! A well-written book indeed.

Great Guide for Teen Social Success

This audiobook is a fantastic resource for teens looking to build confidence, handle peer pressure, and navigate friendships effectively. The advice is practical and easy to apply, making it perfect for real-life situations. I really liked how it addressed bullying and life challenges in a way that feels relatable. The narration is engaging, keeping things interesting without feeling like a lecture. A great listen for both teens and parents looking for guidance on social skills!

“Thinking proceeds . . . “

This book provides in-dept knowledge to help teens become social ninjas. It is easy for me to see how it would be possible for teens instituting these skills to soon find they have the ability to socialize adeptly with anyone. This book would also benefit some adults I know, especially as it relates to the inclusion of certain nuggets like “asking for help is a sign of strength”, and “failure as a means of improvement”. Well done.

Positive and Powerful

As a parent I am so glad I discovered this audiobook. It's packed with insightful and useful content to help empower your teenagers. A great source of knowledge for parents too! And I love that the content is presented in a clear way that's easy to understand. I learned a lot, and particularly liked the section about not letting phones take over teenagers' lives, especially as my kids always seem to be glued to their phones!! The author has done an excellent job!
