Summary
All this Scottish grump wants to be is
Alone
But I need his help....
When a swarm of mail-order brides and his ex-fiancée invade Alban Scotswolf's small shifter town, no one can blame the giant war vet for deciding to retire to his centuries-old cabin in the mountains. This is a tranquil place meant for him, and him alone. Per tradition, no she-wolves are allowed there, and that’s the way he likes it. All he wants to be is alone.
So, how aggravated is he when he finds us squatting in his cabin?
Me, a single mother, hurt and broken after escaping from my abusive ex. Plus, the vulnerable daughter I’ve sworn to protect.
All Alban wants to be is alone.
But I need his help to heal from my wounds—the ones on both the inside and the outside.
Will he give it to me?
Her Scottish Hero is a seriously steamy, contemporary shifter romance featuring
· a Scottish grump who only wants to be alone
· a polite and innocent single mother who needs his help
· a small Scottish town with lots of brawny male wolves in need of brides
· tons of Marmite
· And an adorable girl wolf who’s hoping her gentle mother and her new grumpy best friend will give her the family she’s been praying for all along.

Phenomenal!
I always enjoy Theodora’s books and this one did not disappoint!
The characters were strong and well-developed. The plot was captivating, and I fell in love with the vibes of this book. The twists, turns, and Theodora Taylor’s ability to tell a story held my full attention.
J.Y. Kora and Will Watt were amazing at bringing these characters to life and conveying all of their emotions.

Enjoyed it
Her Scottish Hero is the 3rd book in the Scottish Wolves series. I absolutely loved this story. It was emotional and steamy, and I was hooked from beginning to end.
Lenora was a great mother who would do anything to protect her daughter Dorie, who was absolutely adorable, and I loved the bond they had. I loved Alban's grumpy personality and loved how he related to Dorie.
The story was entertaining and fun to read, and I enjoyed seeing the relationship developed between Alban and Lenora. They were complex characters each with their own baggage but they made a great couple and were perfect together. I will admit, though, that they both frustrated me at times, and I wanted to shake some sense into them. This was an enjoyable read, and I would recommend it to lovers of shifter romance.
I listened to the audiobook, which was narrated by J.Y. Kora and Will Watt. They were both fantastic in their narration and brought the story to life, giving each character their own voice. I loved Will's Scottish accent, but I will admit that at first, I had to slow down my listening speed until I got accustomed. They both did a great job, and it was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

Great listen
I patiently waited for what seemed like forever to grab the audio version of this story and let me just say it was soooo worth it!! Narrators we’re just brilliant and really brought the characters to life. That said I felt like knocking some sense into both mc’s at times they got me so frustrated;) - I’m giving nothing away except to say they seemed to sort it out the communication and self deprecation issues in the end.
I also loved the interconnection with some of the other stories in the TT world and can’t wait to read the next in this series… I mean there just has to be more right🤞🏾😍

Enjoyable story
Love Will Watts narration but found the woman's attempt at a male Scottish accent annoying..

Scottish Brogues are best!
This book was great! I've listened to other books in this series, but I think this one might be my favorite so far! 𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚘𝚍𝚘𝚛𝚊 𝚃𝚊𝚢𝚕𝚘𝚛 chisels her characters masterfully and keeps her readers(listeners) hooked until the end!
I adored Alban! He was the grumpiest of grumpy shifter wolves, but when it came to Dorie, he was a softie! He was a protective grumpy wolf and he quickly stole my heart!
Lenora was a great character, also! She was a wonderful mama and I felt her emotions as my own! Seeing her with Alban....it was fun to watch their feelings blossom!
The chemistry was off the charts between these two! I loved watching their story unfold. From the banter to the steamy moments, I was in for a roller coaster ride with them.
The narrators were great! They put their feelings into the narration and it showed! You could feel their words coming through and it made for a great listen!
This is one I definitely recommend you listen to! It has shifters, banter, twists and an adorable little girl who stole the heart of a big, grumpy wolf! Grab it up today!

Original and Entertaining!
This is the third book in the Scottish Wolves Series, a contemporary shifter romance. I like this series. Leora and Alban's story is original, entertaining, and fast-paced, filled with suspense, and twists and turns. Leora's daughter is adorable. The story has a great cast of supporting characters. J.Y. Kora and Will Watt did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to more in the series.
