About this listen
When a trusting young rabbit called Startup sets out to help his wildlife friends, he little expects to find himself being enticed by a slinky-looking rabbit called Lola. They end up in a life-or-death struggle to stop King Freddie, and a horde of brown rats, from taking over their beloved Hookwood.

Hoppy happiness
I got this book for my 7 year old niece and knowing the book wouldn't get much of a review from her, I decided to listen to it myself, so it could get more than a one word answer and also to see if it was appropriate for her and more importantly something she would listen to. I think she will like it as it is fun and full of naughty animals. The book is made up of chapters and each chapter is a story, so she won't have to sit still for too long and finish it all in one go. The animals are fun and I am sure she will be cheering on the rabbits as they take on the rats. There is also interaction with the humans which I am sure she will enjoy. Although I think she would have liked it more if the cat came into play, as that is her favourite animal. All in all it is a fun light hearted children's story.
The narrator was okay and spoke very clearly and precisely but this is the first children's book I have reviewed and my tastes learn more to cozy mysteries where the narrator's all seem to be American, so this very English voice took some getting use to.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
