Summary
Escape to the Gulf Coast of Florida with Georgia Carpenter as she gets a second chance at life, love, and happiness.
In the middle of an awful divorce, 53-year-old Georgia Carpenter finds herself out of luck, time, and money. Then her phone rings with the news that her great aunt has died and left her a cottage in the Gulf Coast town of Blackbird Beach.

A different kind of love story
Normally you'd have love stories about young couples but this story is based on an older characters who've been married and divorced (or in the process of it). It is one of the feel good kind of story. At the end tho, it feels like it ends abruptly to the point it makes you say "That's it?", but luckily there is more books continuing the story and all of them are included free with the monthly subscription. So, you don't need to wait a month or spend extra to continue.

Engaging entertaining romantic adventure

Cliffhanger Ending
Really enjoyed this gentle story. Have to say though that Georgina seems like a total dimwit compared to her daughter. However, am enjoying their story and hopefully her character will develop a bit more intelligence in the next part as she frees herself from the trauma of a divorce. Like the way Travis is written and the small town politics are portrayed. The ending is excellent as it resolves one of the major conflicts and hooks us into the next book.
