About this listen
Why do kids need to know about growth mindsets? Scientists have found that there are two different kinds of mindsets: fixed mindsets and growth mindsets.
A fixed mindset never changes. In a fixed mindset your failures define you like: "I'm no good at dancing."
If I never learn new things or never make new friends, I have a fixed mindset. My growth mindsets can change!
When I learn something new or challenging, then I have a growth mindset like: "If I focus and practice, I can learn to dance."
Grit, or stick-to-it-ness, is a part of growth mindset of many successful people.

Thought provoking - for kids and adults !
This book is a MUST HAVE for anyone in daily contact with kids (parents, teachers, councellors). I found all these questions very relevant to almost everyone: kids, teenagers, young adults, ... and anyone in general who needs a boost in self confidence.
The questions are very well selected, I will definitely listen it again and discuss it with my 6 yo boy !

Crucial for a healthy child into adulthood!
What is interesting and crucial about this book and topic for children is that kids need to adopt a different sense of themselves - their identity. See kids seeing that things change and morph based on the effort you put in is crucial for developing a skill they will excel at later on in their adulthood!
If all they do is define themselves by their failures and what they cannot do, then they can never change and subsequently become stagnant in their stasis. Healthy adults identify themselves on an ongoing basis; is it their job, their family, their hobby, and their desired personality. If kids cannot do this, they never changed into what they want to become and THIS is why this book is so important for kids to learn.
The good thing is that both the writing and narration are clear and consistent for a child to know!
It is a bit short and could be longer. But the philosophical and psychological rambling aside, this listen is a must and should be listening by a developing kid.
