About this listen
“My family could accept me being gay, but not trans.”
James is in trouble. His family turned their back on him after he transitioned, and he was forced to start his new life without them, but now he's paying the price. Buried in debt, his last chance is to start a business with hunky carpenter Ryan and hope that they succeed. The one thing he can't afford is a distraction, but what if Ryan is the only one to see past it all and love him inside and out?
“Strictly-business is hard around you."
Ryan Hart doesn't rattle easy. From lazy contractors to being the last single friend, nothing bothers him until he meets James. Ryan's new business partner pushes him to follow his dreams, even though he faces problems Ryan's never considered. Ryan doesn't back down from a challenge or from threats to his business, James's hard-won privacy, and their future together. As business partners, of course. Nothing more.
“I can't believe they don't see you as the man I love.”
They both know mixing business with pleasure is a bad idea, but the pull between them is too hard to resist. Can Ryan have it all with the clever, caring, bossy guy who's won his heart?
Grind is a steamy gay romance novel with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

Sweet story of acceptance
James & Ryan together is beautiful to watch develop. Love the found family surrounding them. A lovely way to close the series. Michael Dean was amazing as always.

Their Perfect Match
Ryan had a dream of having his own business selling his wooden crafted item's but had no idea how to do it and James had a Business degree, no job and credit card debt.....together they were a perfect partnership.
This was a great story featuring some difficult subjects but it was done beautifully. I really enjoyed hearing their story.
Michael Dean Narrated fantastically, I could feel the emotions in his voice as he read their story.

amazing!
What a great book to close the series! This is definitely my favorite! I loved James and Ryan as individuals and I loved them together. Their story was heartwarming and beautiful. It was great to see the other characters too and catch up with them. I'm going to miss this group. I had the best time listening their stories. The narrator is absolutely fantastic!

Beautifully written
This is one that tugged at my heartstrings, these two caring and kind and hard working people having to overcome so many issues in their way to succeed in their journey. I loved the narration it really did give it so much more depth and enjoyment for me. This has been an amazing series and i know that this is a series that I will be listening to again.

Redoing this series on Audio ❤️
The last book of the series and I have loved listening to them all on Audio.
James is trans and his family haven't been the most supportive.
Having to fend for himself emotionally and financially, he starts up a carpentry business with Ryan, but he fancies Ryan and knows he cannot mix business with pleasure as there's too much at stake.
This is a long slow burn book but with a HEA, and it also finishes up a few loose ends with the other couples.
The whole Riley brothers series books are hot. Great narration from Michael Dean, love that these books are written as points of view.

Superb ending to the series
It is really hard to be informative about topics such as trans issues and still create a perfect, steamy romance with fully developed characters but E. Davies has done that expertly here. I guarantee you'll learn things you didn't know but you will never feel like you are reading a book solely written to transmit a message. James and Ryan are fully 3D people that you will love and root for. Michael Dean does a wonderful job here of bringing all the characters to life and conveying all the emotions. He was a great choice for this story.

Great conclusion to this series
This is the 6th and final book in the Riley Brothers series and it is a great way to close it out. This is a more unusual story than the others in this series and it tackles some sensitive subjects in a really nice way. Ryan and James are like two halves of a whole and it was really sweet to see how they came together. Michael Dean does a great job of narration as usual.

An amazing end to the series!
A very sweet end to a great series. I really enjoyed how much I learned about the trans community from this story. I loved the way Ryan researched so he could make James feel more comfortable around him and knew the politically correct things to say.
I thought the angst level was perfect in this story because there was so much family drama going on with James anyway, so he needed the reprieve in my mind. Another great Riley Brother's addition!
