“Uranus... enough with the jokes please “
For what it is, it’s a great, funny little listen, but I was hoping for more ‘stories’ than just a list of facts like a dictionary.
Sometimes it’s a little repetitive as you get the same fact regarding the wife during her husbands turn and hers for example.
All in all though, would definitely recommend and listen to more of them.
The narrator perfectly suits the book!
This is my honest opinion of a free review copy.

great intro
I really struggled with Mythos, so I was hesitant about this, but it's a fab little intro to better known Greek myths 😊

Interesting Facts
Greek Myths by David Fuentes is a very quick listen full of facts. Its been years since hearing much about Greek Myths for me. The author did a good job with the details in a very limited time. I'd rather he include more details and have made the book longer, but it was still very enjoyable. Jason Hunt narrated the book fine. No over dramatization.

A Brief introduction to who's who in Greek Myths
This was actually a good little introduction, although too brief and with too much left out, it was to the point and amusing. However if you are looking for a book that gives you background and the whole of the numerous stories, this isn't it. As an audio-book it is still too much information to retain.with too many gods and goddesses to remember so I feel it would be better in writing.
The narrator, was quite good (a bit slow but I sped him up).
Overall 3.5 stars

Short
I half hate it because it's so short but what is there is fine. The Narrator was the best thing about it although his dramatic tone did get a bit wearisome after a while.

FUNNY but informative
If you like Greek mythology you need a listen to this audible it will make you laugh as you learn there's one draw back the author repeats things over and over.

Bit disappointing
Very short introduction to Greek myth
Learned a few things about lead arrows and hecatonchires and wished there had been more factual information because what was presented was good
The quips about a Brixton council estate and Essex virgins were off and in my opinion, poor taste. Realise they’re meant to be funny comments but out of place and out of date humour

Don't waste your time, or money.
Terrible book... mine was obtained as a free download and it STILL wasn't worth the money! No myth is given more than the briefest of tellings, mere seconds in some cases, and the attempts at humour are puerile at best. If you have even the slightest interest in Greek mythology then still give this one a miss!
