About this listen
The last thing Jeff wants is to spend time with the man who totaled his car—the one he spent years restoring with his late father. But if he wants to resurrect his childhood town’s annual outdoor hockey tournament, he’s got no choice.
The last thing Mika wants is to work with the guy who took off right after the accident, without ensuring he was okay. And working together on organizing Jeff’s proposed tournament sounds like a complete nightmare. He’s got enough on his plate after surviving cancer.
Sparks fly as they’re forced to work together, but is that enough for them to set their differences aside and pull off the tournament in only two weeks? Or will they prove to be immune to the magic of Christmas?

A very touching story!
I loved this when I read it with my eyes and I loved it all over again while listening to it. The story brought on happy tears near the end. I loved the slightly paranormal twist. Aaron Hokanson did a great job performing this story.

Cosy christmas vibes
Story: A really engaging fun story of animosity turned love among cosy Christmas vibes of Lighthouse Bay. I loved going back to the whole gang and their Christmas themed type of crazy. Amy Aislin created a cute location for men to find love in. Jeff and Mika's story begins on a very wrong foot, with strong emotions on both sides. It was great to see them work through their animosity as circumstances put them close again. The author did a great job creating complex, relatable characters here!
Narration: Very good performance! I had no trouble following the story despite the multitude of characters.

This book is the sweetest thing ever!
I absolutely adored Jeff and Mika, and their romance which flowed seamlessly from a rocky start and a barely tolerated coexistence and begrudging attraction to the kind of slow love that warms you from within and lightens up your life.
I loved the fact that both characters are in their forties, and the super sweet way Jeff wooed Mika with little gestures and steady shows of affection.
A delightful Christmas story in July, full of sweetness and emotions and a lot of magic!
