About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
A smart, funny, sex-positive YA perfect for fans of Nicola Yoon and Rainbow Rowell, this is a heartwarming look at the particular challenges of adolescence, written as only a teen could.
Simone is HIV-positive - and positive HIV won't define her.
She also knows that celibacy is - techincally - the best way to stay safe. Enter Miles Austin: intelligent, funny and way too sexy for Simone to resist. But her classmates don't know that she's HIV-positive - and what is the truth worth in the hands of the wrong person?

Brilliant, funny, touching & important
Absolutely loved this book. It was beautifully read. It reminded me of Holding Up the Universe by Jennifer Niven - it had that wonderful mixture of heavy subject matter, paired with a really resilient character. The writing is wonderful and feels very connected and authentic to the subject, the age of the main character and her experiences. Will definitely read whatever Garrett writes next.

this was the worst book ive ever read
its so horrifically bad, i need mind bleech, the lgbt+ characters are written horribly, it reads like a dramatic soap opera, i couldnt get past chapter 9, the only bareable part was the beginning, the first 30 or so minutes, after that its perhaps the worst thing ive ever read- i cant believe i spent my credit on this book, ive read better things on free fanfic websites. THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!! it tries to say its spreading positivity and awareness so its hard to crititize but theres not one scene between the 3 friends thats not about sex (at least not for the first 2 hours) & boys. As a lesbian, the way LGBT people are represented is just... bad. The main character is a total Mary Sue, and some of the things she says that are meant to be empowering are just dangerous- like not wanting to tell someone they have HIV before they do it. This book hides under the false pretense of spreading awareness when in reality all its spreading is poor representation and horrible writing, I doubt anyone proof read this before it went to print.
