As the 32nd president of the United States of America, Franklin Delano Roosevelt is a common household name in both his home country and the world. Perhaps most famously, Roosevelt served as governor of New York and president of the United States while he suffered from polio. Instead of allowing the disease to keep him from living a full life, he went above and beyond, training himself to walk without the power of his legs so that his voters would not know that he suffered in any capacity.

President who guides America
Narrative biography of FDR. The standard facts of his life are well known, and there is little 'new ground' to uncover here, but instead the main focus of the biography is all in the subtitle.Overall this is a good introduction to one of the most ass-kickingest Presidents ever and I'm glad I gave it a try.

In spite of my reluctance to read books that have lots of political detail in them, I did enjoy this one because it added some personal detail and interesting author conjecture about FDR as well.

From a purely historical position, there is one avenue of interpretation that simply "is what it is" - the image. it's entirety the collection offers a broad overview of A Captivating Guide to the Life of FDR - the man, son, husband, father, politician, leader, and sportsman.

I concluded it was best. After hearing the writer speak.It served me know an important part of our history that I recognize from American History, but didn't really know. As I listen, I imagined what stages in my parent's lives were affected by the issues. The writer supports make history come alive.

I appreciated this book but I remembered the writer went a bit too in-depth on features of WWII and a bit too far away from FDR. I receive some background knowledge is required but I might have favored shorter background info and made to what choices he made using the data quicker.

I recommend this book as a good biography of Franklin Roosevelt. If anyone needs to know and discover about him, this is the perfect book for it. It tells all about his presidency from the New Deal in the first hundred days to the last days of his final fourth term, this book had it all.

It’s very good so far
Although this political biography is of fundamental focused on FDR’s life in the office, it provides the listener a sense of the man, describing a charming picture of his unique skills to accomplish so much while keeping his constituents so enthralled.
