For 50 years, Michel Thomas worked on decoding languages into their most essential component parts. Great way to break the rut
I think self-taught learners go through a lot of struggles and might be able to read basic Irish but sorely lack the practice to produce translations on the spot and this tool allows that. I've just ordered the 8th lesson out of 9. Having learners on the recording making the same mistakes you make, asking the questions to the teacher you want to ask, just makes it so different from other materials (in a good way). I think some pronunciations seem to change slightly and can be a bit confusing but that got ironed out with a bit of extra research for me. Definitely a must-have resource to play multiple times.
I was annoyed at first that the whole series wasn't covered with one credit but the pacing of taking one lesson repeated a few times for a month and waiting for new credits has really solidified the lesson knowledge.
