Brilliant adaptation
Abi, Pat, and Shirley are on the case again. When a local food vendor is killed the ladies are sure Byron has arrested the wrong man. So the Ladies get involved again. Great mystery with excellent narration.

Food for thought
I enjoyed this book but just wish it could have been longer. I don't like novellas because they end just as it starts to get interesting but the characters have me returning to this series. The books are short and sweet and don't need to be read or listened to in the right order, so are perfect to pick up and go. As I said I like the characters who are older than the usual amateur Sleuth that you expect from cozy mysteries, this means Shirley can get away with her abrupt style of interrogating suspects. The mystery was interesting although a bit obvious who the killer would be.
When Pat gets hit by flying food she knew that the rivalry between her favourite good truck owner and his competition was heating up but she never expected she would have to be looking for a killer to clear his name.
I like the narrator, as she uses different voices to bring the characters to life.
