Summary

Understand how the Flu Pandemic of 2018-2019 will affect us all, and how we can learn from what happened during the Spanish Flu Epidemic of 1918.

It's not a matter of if, but when it will come.

This book will tell you what happened in 1918 when the Spanish Flu Pandemic went around the world killing millions, but in the United States alone it killed 675,000.

Scientists tell us that we are due for another Pandemic and they predict it will be in the fall of 2018-2019. They fear it will come from China and the open-air poultry markets and make its way quickly across the planet, killing as it comes across the globe.

This audiobook will help you understand the flu virus itself, why developing the vaccine is so hard, and what is standing in its way.

Dangerous propaganda

After persevering through random anecdotes I stopped listening when it seemed to me that the author suggested that homeopathic treatments are more effective than clinically tested peer reviewed medically prescribed treatments for contagious ailments citing spurious unvalidated data. Dangerous misinformation in my opinion. There is however much to be questioned about with regard to the Pharmaceutical industry and it's practices- I'd recommend Ben Goldacre, 'Bad Science' and 'Bad Pharma'

Borderline Drivel

A few pertinent facts and a smattering of relevant conclusions, but almost no.back and mostly random conspiracy theory conclusions. Disappointing to say the least.
