Summary
Small-town librarian Cherry Deschamps is perfectly content with her safe, mundane existence even if others might consider evenings spent with a mug of hot cocoa, bowl of Ramen noodles, and a Netflix marathon boring.
When the panty-meltingly gorgeous “Mr. Hollywood” enters her life, showering her with gifts and attention, of course she’s skeptical. She’s learned from an early age that exposing her heart will only lead to pain and heartache.
Cezar fights every baser instinct he has to win over his human mate - including behaving in the ways of a human male. In the end, however, it may take the fiery passion and fierce possessiveness of his dragon to convince Cherry that she’s worthy of being loved.
This is the second book of Candace Ayers' latest series, Dragons of the Bayou, a dragon shifter romance series set in the swamplands of the deep south.
This is a hot and spicy, super steamy paranormal dragon shifter fantasy romance from Candace Ayers and Lovestruck Romance with an HEA and no cliff-hangers. Fans of Zoe Chant, Terry Bolryder, Harmony Raines, and Ruby Dixon may like this dragon shape-shifter series.

Cezar and Cherry
Cezar thought he was prepared to find his mate, he read several books on human dating. Finding his mate has challenged him in ways he didn’t expect. Cherry has a troubled past, that is affecting her life presently. Her desires are one thing and she communicates the complete opposite of what she truly wants. The back and forth in Cherry is tiring although once the backstory is explained it makes more sense for her personality to be the way it is. In the end they do find their HEA.
