About this listen

A mutant searching for sanctuary. A hunter hot on her trail.

Lilah has heard rumors of a garden paradise known as Eden somewhere out in the wilds. Forced out of post-apocalyptic Chicago when her mutant abilities come to light, it's her only hope of safety.

But she's not the only one roaming the wastelands.

On Adam’s first mission as a newly qualified Warden, he is tasked with finding and destroying the heart of the Resistance: Eden.

When Lilah and Adam's destinies collide, neither can deny the spark of attraction between them, but how long can they journey together before their secrets come to light?

When Lilah lets down her barriers, Adam sees her for who she truly is and is faced with an impossible choice between duty and his heart.

Finding Eden is a gripping dystopian adventure, perfect for fans of Delirium, Shatter Me, Divergent, and the Hunger Games.

Clean, YA romantic dystopian

[Audio ARC]

Finding Eden is book two in a series, but the author promised me I'd be able to easily follow the story without having read the previous instalment, and she was 100% right. I understand that this one has a new cast of characters, and I didn't feel a bit confused with the storyline.

This is a clean, YA romantic dystopian story.
Dual third person POV.
Audio narration by: Kim Churchill (which was enjoyable)

Favourites:
- Redemption: I always love a good redemption arc.
- Young romance: it's not full of it, but it was the right amount for me and felt generally believable and sweet.
- Two sides: I always enjoy it when the author can show us that every issue has two sides, and that both sides often equally believe they are right.

What I missed:
- Predictability: the plot was quite predictable, and although that's not necessarily always a bad thing, it was paired with a few issues that were just a little too easily and quickly solved.

Sexual content: none
Coarse language: very mild
Violence and gore: moderate violence, mild gore
Triggers: vaccines, discrimination and oppression

Conclusion
Though this wasn't a story that overly wowed me, I enjoyed it. The narration was comfortable and I would recommend it for any fans of clean, relatively easy read YA dystopian stories with a bit of action and romance sprinkled in.

Good story

I honestly haven't listened to the first book but I was able to read it so it was a little hard adjusting from the voice I gave them in my head to the narration but it turned out really well. I love multiple POV stories and this has a great storyline to it. Id recommend.
