About this listen
Jamie Cole has just been released from juvenile detention. Determined to go straight, he tries to cut ties with crime boss Brett Reyes - but Brett has no intention of letting him go. Jamie's life is already more complicated than it needs to be, yet it's when he meets a beautiful stranger at a bar that Jamie knows he's really in over his head.
Ellie Pearce has just come out of a terrible relationship and isn't looking for anything serious...until she meets Jamie. Their attraction is overwhelming and intense - she can't seem to shake her growing feelings for him, even though she's trying to keep it casual. But when fate goes horribly wrong and Jamie's family is faced with ruin, he's forced to strike a deal with Brett.
Despite his struggles he wants nothing more than a future with Ellie. That's until Ellie finds out that he's been hiding more from her than she could ever imagine....

All round good read!
Another fantastic Kirsty Moseley story! I love the bad boy, good girl storyline but do feel like Ellie is a bit to much of a push over and that there should be some fighting back from her. The only other fault is that I'm not overly keen on the Male narrator but that's a personal preference. Aside from that an all round great story and I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store in part 2

I've waited 4 years for this story to be published
The female narrator was great. So genuine and emotional. the male narrator though. he didn't do Jamie justice. Disapointing. But I've been waiting literally years to read this revised story since first discovering Kirsty Moseley on Wattpad.
This story is just breathtakingingly gut wrenchingly beautiful. Just read it. You have to. Thank you Kirsty for persevering with this.

I love Kirsty Moseley's audio books
I am a huge Kirsty Moseley fan, I love her writing and I've got to say this book did not disappoint. Written in dual POV the story follows Jamie Cole as he leaves juvenile detention after serving 4 years inside, Jamie now aged 18, is determined to go straight and leave his criminal past behind. He then meets gorgeous head cheerleader Ellie Pierce who has just got out of a sham relationship with the captain of the school football team, Miles. Both Ellie and Jamie are not looking for commitment, but, as we know, life never goes according to plan and things start getting a little more serious. At the same time Jamie discovers it's not that easy to leave his past behind and he ends up getting sucked back into the life through no real fault of his own, mainly because he's such a nice guy. As lovely as they both are, and they are, the chemistry is amazing, but can they get past Jamie's secrets and make a go of their relationship? Or will Jamie's past prove to be just too much? Beautifully written and thoroughly enjoyable, and at times, a little bit emotional, I did shed the odd tear. Although this is not a cliffie per sé, it is more a, to be continued, I've got to say, I need book two in my life now. I loved this audio version, the narrator's got Jamie and Ellie spot on. Roll on December.
