Fearne Cotton

By: Holly Newson
Narrated by: Fearne Cotton

Summary

Fearne Cotton discusses how we can all be less stressed and tells us what her new guilty pleasure is as she visits Audible Studios to talk about her new book Calm: Letting Go of Stress and Searching for a Happy Centre. She discusses her own mental health, what calm really means and how we can find it, and how the advice of her dearest friends can help you, too.

Best-selling author Fearne Cotton is probably known most as a television and radio presenter. She has been presenting live television since she was a teenager and in 2015 wrapped up a fantastic decade spent at BBC Radio 1, where she was the first woman to head up the UK chart show and the host of the Sony Gold award-winning weekday midmorning show.

Following the success of her first book, Happy, Calm looks into another state that we'd all love to achieve and the little ways we might go about managing it.

Best bit was the beginning

My favourite part of this interview was near the beginning, where Fearne talks about how it feels to write (therapeutic), and to share her stories with the world (terrifying).

She also talks a bit about her books, and about her plans for the future. It sounds like there's more to come!
