About this listen
While Nicole Clark was stunningly beautiful on the outside, she was dangerously evil on the inside. Forgive Me Father is a suspense thriller about Nicole who was on a mission to kill her ex-husband, Tom, who obtained full custody of their son. In addition, Nicole was in desperate need of money, so she concocted a scheme to extort money from priests. Both of these quests go terribly wrong, and Nicole found herself in trouble. She hired a shady attorney, Howard Mancini, who clashed with Detective Roger Drake.
Will she succeed in killing her ex-husband or in extorting money from priests? How will the priests react? Will Detective Roger Drake stop her? Can her shady attorney save her? Forgive Me Father is a pause-resister with unpredictable turns and twists that will keep the listener guessing.

Very different and intriguing for it.
If you could sum up Father Forgive Me in three words, what would they be?
Beautiful but evil
Fast paced
A different slant on crime
What other book might you compare Father Forgive Me to, and why?
I can't. Usually we are waiting for a hero/detective/FBI etc to solve a murder or prevent a disaster. Here we are looking to perpetrate a crime with a beautifully selfish person in the lead. I liked it. It's good to be different.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
If you are looking for an edge of your seat, up all night reading, suspenseful, then look no further. The characters were very real and likable, except Nicole. She is a true villain, only thinking of one thing, herself, which is a brave thing for an author to do to the main character. This is a great book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I love the idea of this well written book. A lead character who is a villain that is part enchantress and part serial killer. The reader is repulsed by her sexually warped & manipulative behavior, but can't tear themselves away from reading the next chapter. Well done.
