About this listen
They say love is like an explosion. But explosions haven't been so kind to Michael Wagner.
Michael's given his life in service to the military. He had a plan - structure, discipline, focus. Thirty years in the Army before retirement. It only took one IED blast to change all of that, stealing his hearing and altering the course of his life forever.
Joining some small-town support group? It's not going to change that. It's not going to give him back anything that he's lost...but maybe it's worth a shot, anyway.
They say love is like a car crash. But the funny thing about car crashes is - someone always gets hurt.
Andrew hates PTSD - the root cause of his father's decision to drink and drive the night he died. But getting angry is only useful if you turn it into action, so Andrew is resolved to reform the G-MIL support group his father used to run for military members and the people who love them.
Meeting a handsome, older soldier through the group was never Andrew's intention. Falling in love with Michael was never on the agenda. But when their hearts get involved, Andrew has to make a decision - can he withstand the pressure of loving a man who thinks himself broken?
Falling for His Comrade is the first audiobook in the Soldier's Support Group series, although it can be listened to as a stand-alone book. These military men might face some tough choices, but each audiobook in the series delivers a guaranteed happily ever after!

Narration was great, story was okay
The narration was excellent and by far my favourite part of this story. Adams did an excellent job voicing all the characters and bringing them to life. The story: The romance and connection was good, I liked the friendship dynamics between the characters. What I didn’t like was the misinformation about moderate unilateral hearing loss and the military. It was easy to find that the American military is accepting of moderate hearing loss. And they have other jobs for people to work on base in the event soldiers loose their hearing on tour. Other than that, it was a good collection of stories.

Wow so worth 1 credit, 4 books in 1
This is about a support group for serving/retired service men, G-Mil was ran by Andrews father who had PTSD, after his death Andrew decided to run the group himself.
These books follow the lives/relationships of 4 couples who have various issues including PTSD, Family issues including parents who disown their sons due to being Gay. The support group is for anyone and everyone regardless and they become a band of brothers/families who are there for each other regardless.
Well worth the 23hours that I listened. Very easy to listen to, the narrator Lance has a lovely tone and made it very easy to lose myself.

Falling for His Comrade - 4.5 - great bang for your buck
4.5, and I rounded up—what an excellent value for your money/credit.
The stories were overall pretty good. Each story kept me engaged, and they weren't all the same. The narrator was good though it took me a bit to adjust to their style. Overall, I recommend it.

A vibrant and charismatic narration!!
This Is the first series I've ever read written by Jamie June and every single book included on this bundle Is about a couple, finding love while overcoming some issues and accepting themselves and their right to happiness and light. The intensity of the emotions, the lovely moments and how everything moved around the Soldier's support group helped to link all the wonderful characters together. Now, the vibrant and charismatic performance of Mr Adams gave the stories on the book a new whole dimension bringing the characters and their emotions to life. So wonderful!

Soldiers Support Group Bundle
Very enjoyable set of connected stories centered on a support group for current and ex- military men. Many are fresh out of the military, some unexpectedly so, and they are trying to determine what to do with their lives. These are stories of men supporting each other, overcoming past trauma, fulfilling dreams, and finding love. Topics include DUI, PTSD, death of a family member, physical impairment causing unwanted discharge, family abandonment, age gap, and many others. I loved the camaraderie of the group and how the men learned to get past their learned stoicism and to express their feelings. Great characters and great stories. I appreciated having them all together in one listen. While each story stands alone, characters from the various books reappear in the others as members of the support group.
The narration was good and the delivery was well-paced and engaging.
I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Over 22 hours of bliss
i loved how all 4 books revolve around G-mil a support group ran by Cory and Andrew. Book 1 is Andrew and Michael and deals with loss of hearing, PTSD and alcoholism and a HEA. Book 2 is Liam and Yves. The love between these 2 men was charming. Book 3 is Kevin and James, and even after a horrific accident how love can bloom, and last is Jaren and Nicholas, these guys are friends and Nicholas has lost his wife to another man, who falls for his friend.

Great series
Great series
This is a new-to-me author and I’m so glad I found her. The Soldier Support Group is a great idea – a place where military men can gather and find support. G-MIL is the basis for all the stories in this series. Issues such as PTSD and progressive disability are addressed in a sensitive manner that works well with these characters. Characters I quickly fell in love with. There was also diversity and I love when that’s an added layer to characters – makes them feel more real.
Although each book is available individually, there was something to be said for listening to the entire series at once. Helped with the continuity.
The series is narrated by Lance Adams and I thought he did a good job. I enjoyed this audio and look forward to more books by Ms. June.

Ok listen
My intention was to write a review for each individual book, but after 22h of listening, I can't remember which one was what.
The story of the 4 books are similar in the way that there is not really a plot. It's just a sweet romance with a low angst, strong insta-lust and not much drama. I like them, but nothing really stand out. It wasn't a boring listen by any means, but not remarkable and maybe a little dull.
I like the narration well enough. I could distinguished both characters and Mr. Adams gave emotion and life to the story. Sometimes I was a little confused by who was talking, but that's 'cause there is a LOT of side characters on the first 2 books.
