Solid series

Perfect for fans of Cruel Prince and Court of Thorns and Roses. This series builds really well, though the heroine is not the keen strategist of Holly Black’s Jude, it still has the complex games of the Fae. The heroine bears more similarity to Sara J Mass’ Fayre - a capable country hunter thrown into greater events. This book reaches the end of the more obvious story clues, (which you could honestly see coming from a mile away, but it’s still enjoyable). Very much looking forward to the next book as there are very few clues regarding where it goes from here

Fae nightmare

This is book three in the series. This book leads of from the where the last book so I would recommend reading /listening to the other books. Allie Hunter had entered the fae world in the other story but time different. Ally has to adjust to what's happening and try and prepare the Fae invasion. Ally and Scouvrel spend the most of the time separated but the interaction and relationship between them is great. She has a lot to deal with and I really enjoyed this story and I enjoyed listening to it and looking forward to the next one.

Gripping Battle and Undefined Love

Fae Nightmare is a story of betrayal, love and forgiveness.
Allie has many eye-opening and thought provoking experiences in this part of her quest.
The town she grew up in has changed quite a bit from the time she entered the fae world to the moment of her return.
There’s an unknown dark presence hanging over the town like a shroud.
Like before the townsfolk are against Allie and decide that she might make a great sacrificial lamb to appease those in higher power but Allie has other plans.
It soon becomes apparent that the only one that’s going to save the stolen children and the town is Allie...except she finds a little help in some very unexpected places.
I loved the twists Allie’s story took. I was definitely sitting on the edge of my seat through most of the story if not all. I enjoyed seeing Allie’s character grow and transform as well as the relationship between Allie and Scourvel.
The ending was a total surprise. I’m anxious to find out what’s going to happen next.
