Powerful listen
I have always been somewhat into exercise and know how effective exercise is for improving your mental well-being as I always tend to feel better when I'm in a good, regular exercise routine. However, I sometimes lack drive to be consistent with my exercise which was addressed in this book which I found to be very helpful. I am also not someone who sets goals when exercising and then section in here which takes you through how to properly set goals was very helpful indeed. Very easy to listen to with a great sounding narrator.

Thank you for making this book Benjamin Patrick!!
If you feel like you're in a slump and struggling to get yourself going. I cannot recommend this audio book highly enough.
It feels like you've got someone there with you, picking you up, step by step, without having to go through the initial stress of actually going in to a gym and facing a PT or exercising with other people when you don't quite feel confident enough yet.
There was a really good balance of being understanding but also being firm enough to motivate me to push myself when I really need to.
I'm already in a much better place and actually get a buzz out of my morning run now!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Healthy
I love this method of improving mental wellness! I have friends who have taken medications to help their mental wellness, but they all come with various side effects. I really didn't want to take a pill that will help with one thing, but make another thing worse. This book gives the perfect solution for that. Exercising for mental wellness! And the side effects of exercising...are positive! Increased energy, mental clarity, a feeling of accomplishment...those are side effects I can live with! I really appreciated this book and it's positive method towards mental wellness!

An insightful text and potential life saver
I have never really connected mental health to exercise. This book advocates the inclusion of structured physical exercise for mental wellness and ultimate happiness. I appreciate the honesty and vulnerability that the author shares in this book. That approach gave life to the text and made it more relatable.
Chapter 5 – Exercise Routine and Plateau – is particularly useful to me because I have found it difficult to break through my plateau. The steps presented are clear and easy to follow - valuable inspirational information narrated in a powerful manner.

Break through your plateaus
What a way to demystify the mental health challenge. This audiobook provided a comprehensive path to improve mental health challenges through very practical means by starting with simple steps such as setting goals, creating routines, why they are important and how to go about applying them & lots more. Most important for me was how to manage plateaus. We have all experienced moments in life when we just got stuck or got comfortable and couldn't see any progress or way forward. Such plateau moments which are not just barriers but can also become mental barriers. The author gives a good perspective on how to manage this challenge to maximise the benefits. A very worthwhile listen.

Precise Material
I am an active person and work out usually five times a week. I very much believe that gym therapy is a very real thing. Reading this book just helped affirm that I was not crazy and that many people actually use working out to help regulate their mental health because they have a sound understanding of the effects working out can have on their mental state. As well as they understand the science and chemical releases our body undergoes from working out! For those who don't understand or know too well this book ties it all together beautifully.
