Summary

This popular and best-selling book from a renowned Franciscan challenges people to move beyond the comfort of a settled life toward an understanding of themselves that is rooted in their connection to God. Only when they rest in God can they find the certainty and the freedom to become all that they can be. Contemplation has its place at the heart of Christianity, a place that allows people to experience how “everything belongs”.

Everything Belongs

This is a very informative book one which you end up listening to chapters over and over . I had this in print first and then on audio as going over chapters is much easier with Audio. It is read beautifully, and with clear and easy to follow tones. Once you make time to listen you can't help to want more. I would like to have a go at the group session at the end with others , if anyone is intrested? it will provide some reassurance, as it is a very detailed and clever book. Howeve, it's written so everyone can access and understand it. A credit to Richard Rohr.

A BOOK THAT CAME INTO MY LIFE AT THE PERFECT TIME

When the pupil is ready, the master will appear. Thank you Father Rohr for writing this book which I started listening to at the end of a terrible family trauma. It was immensely helpful to me.

Contimplation

Coming from a more progressive inclusive faith I can say Richard Rohr does it again. I enjoyed his challenges and the importance of church structure near the end of the book. something for me to consider more about. will listen for a second time.

Fantastic content but boring reader voice

I loved the content but found it horrible to listen to as the reader was so monotone to listen to. Having heard Richard Roth reading his own books and expecting to hear the words articulated with the passion that they deserve, the boring, let's make sure we've articulated every syllable really didn't cut it. Sorely disappointed by the reader and after listening to a few chapters gave up and will be buying the book and reading it myself.
