Summary
When radio presenter Casey Fallon answers the call, she assumes it’s a prank. But then a woman’s body is discovered, and she finds herself up against a cruel and calculating killer who wants her to find his victims before they take their last breath.
Fifteen years ago, Casey was a key witness in the trial of serial killer Steve Noakes, and her evidence helped put him behind bars for the murders of five women. Someone remembers what happened that summer - someone who is desperate for revenge, someone who won’t stop until Casey has been punished....

amazing thriller
From start to startling finish, Keri keeps up the pace as the story of the aftermath of a serial killer's capture leads into a series of mysteries that conclude in a most unexpected fashion. A real page turner as Miss Beevis ups her game again.

Good story
Good story held my interest but readers were awful and that put a damner on the whole thing.

Grating
A good story but the narrators grating voice spoiled it. Made me cringe. 😖

Chick lit or thriller?
This book started so well but then it became a chore. However, i think it was largely due to the narrator who didn’t bring the characters to life. Narrators voice is not the voice for a thriller and I kept having to think which character she was referring to because there was no change in voice/accent. The romantic element to the story was also predictable and tedious. This book could have been so much more if it had kept going with the quality of the first couple of chapters.
