I'm glad I live in Europe

This is a good book.

Initially I thought it was going to be a bit conspiratorial and based on pseudo-science, but not at all.

I'm vegan and have been concerned about oestrogen in soy products for some time -- and while the general consensus is that they're safe, it's interesting to find out that this isn't necessarily the case.

I'm still vegan, but now soya free and already feel the brain fog lifting and my thoughts clearing.

The author isn't vegan however, and as such he points to the dangers of oestrogen in many of the other products we use and take for granted (including dairy, which doesn't apply to me).

It's a tough challenge to avoid all these oestrogen causing substances, but I think it may be worth it.

Shocking

We know the problems in our environment but choose to go about our daily activities hoping this only happens to other people. Unfortunately this issue is something we cannot afford to ignore. This book a a great leader in getting you to do more research and ultimately change lifestyle choice. Once you have got to grips with the terminology you will find it easier to search for alternative products for a healthier life. Great fishing stories included in this book. Highly necessary reading.

Awful Narration Good Content

With the narration quality this audiobook feels like it's straight out of the 90's. Genuinely don't understand why they had that redneck/southern narrator announcing the chapters. That being said the contents of this book are really useful and informative. Would be worthwhile for the author to rerecord this and upload it with better quality narration.

Stop using plastics Now!

An eye-opener
Estrogenic compounds are everywhere and they re not good for you says the author.
Plastics are a big culprit - stop using them where possible.
Also has an eye-opener on how research is conducted and reviewed.
Excellent book.

Great end message

I found this book went on for way too long before really getting to the main message and practical solutions. I found myself getting super bored at several points through the listen. It’s mainly relevant to the USA but does have some useful content to European listeners.

great listen!

I really want to support the author and his cause by leaving a good review! I did enjoy the information but wish it was a little shorter. I understand the author's goal was to convince us that this is a serious issue but I was convinced after a few chapters so for the rest of the book I was just inpatiently waiting to hear what we can actually do in our every day life to prevent and reduce the impact of estrogenics which he covers very thoroughly in the last chapter 😀 Also, I'm very happy I live in Europe lol!

Ver y interesting

The information in this book is super interesting, I love that the the author is citing research about the viability of research! It gives me confidence that he has checked his sources and compared different papers. I'm definitely going to change some things in my life regarding plastics!

The sound quality is very poor and you'd think someone would invest in a good microphone before recording an audio book. Also, the Texas accent voice is horrible!!

important info, poor delivery

listening about fishing throughout the book was painful but it does contain important information, wish the book was more to the point and read more clearly without whispering some of the words
