Wise advice, but limited utility outside USA.
This book of tips and description of the house or apartment buying process is written by someone well versed in the topic. It is a friendly, informative and helpful style. The narration is upbeat and largely positive. The process is taken logically through the decision to buy at all; getting your credit rating healthy enough to take out a loan; finding the right people to help and advise; variations you may wish to consider and tips on negotiation. There are some universal truths and applicable advice here.
My audiobook also came with a PDF which is a transcript of the text content. The eBook version sounds as if it has useful links embedded in the text. These don't work in an audiobook. I received my copy through AudibleUK, which is why I have rated it low for the value of the content. All the links, laws and arrangements are USA based. For UK consumers, there was nothing on leasehold or stamp duty. Neither is school tax relevant, but you will need to know about community charge banding.
