Excellent

Loved listening to this and finding out how Luc , B , Aidan ,Alec ,Jason , Eli and the rest first met .
Of course B had to do waffles or crepes to everyone and you eventually find out what happened in Brazil.
Kale , Troy and Sarah were perfect as usual 🙂

fantastic narrators, intriguing extras, loved it!

Loved loved loved this, it's full of treats, intrigue, insights, humour, emotion and some downright sexy times..... Brazil!!!
Oh and secrets.......My lips are sealed ;-)

Elder Bonds is a bit different to Lexi's previous books, it's full of short stories, character interactions and reactions, tidbits, info and a lot of humour.  It gives you a very good idea of the chaos I imagine is swirling around in her head with these wonderful characters from the Immortal Curse World.  It's a bit of the past, present and future rolled into one, all narrated by the gorgeous Balthazar, but oh, is even B in over his head this time? (cue sniggers) However I have to say, I knew there was something very special about the Hydraian leader Luc, from his previous appearances and this book absolutely confirms he is for me! The hints about what is to come in the next books (especially with the likes of Stark and Ezekiel) has me absolutely intrigued, I was already hooked but am really excited for the next installment!

The audio version was wonderful with three excellent narrators (I could listen to Luc all day long, ok and B too 😉) who brought all the wonderful characters in this series to life!

I love this world more and more each time I enter it, it's so full of colour and depth. If you haven't entered yet, go and get book one, Blood Laws asap because you're going to want to read what happens before this!!

Pancakes... or Waffles...

I started reading Elder Bonds when I learnt that the audiobook was coming out, so I stop reading and waited for the audio, and I am not disappointed.
The Audiobook is great, amazing performances of Sarah, Troy and Kale, they are wonderful narrators whom made this book so much enjoyable.
If you're reading the books in order, do not skip this as there's many clues and information of what's going on, and references for future books. If you have read all books in the series and haven't read this, DO IT now! it's fantastic.

But... even after this, the question still remains... pancakes or waffles???

Found my first repeat listen.

I've enjoyed about 90% of all my audible listens, but this is the first that I will continue to return to, when I need a pick me up.

Immortal Curse is my favourite book series and this addition is slightly different. It's more like a companion to the series, a behind the scenes as told by the characters.

I loved it when I first read it, but hearing it come alive is something else entirely. I could not stop giggling at the characters arguing over memories. The amount of times I had to rewind because I was laughing too much to hear.

The narrators manage to make every character unique. In scenes where it could become chaotic with so many characters fighting to be heard, the characters are distinct and clear.

I hope we get more short story collections like this.
