Great
Great prequel to the Arianna and the Storm. Loved meeting Egris and understanding his motivations. It builds much more into the character. I definitely recommend this

Nice Intro
The Authors did a great job of being descriptive and allowing you to visualize this short story as they introduce you to its characters and the world of Idril. Excellent narration, easily able to identify different tones for different characters. And now that they’ve given you a little taste, you can’t wait to keep reading and hope they survive the trying times of the drought.

A story of preservation and mystery
Well narrated. Like the world the author has built. Looking forward to the next instalment as this feels like a taster! Excited to see what happens with his daughter!
