About this listen

He’s powerful, he’s virtually unstoppable, and he just wants to be left alone.

In a world filling up with the supernatural, a lone werewolf drifts into a farming community looking for work and promptly kicks a hornet’s nest.

Actually, he would prefer it was a hornet. What he kicks is much worse.

Well worth the listen, good story, well connected

So far, each book has been a standalone story but with interconnecting characters with other books which has been most enjoyable. The overall storyline shared between them has been interesting, eventful and at times humerous. The narrator, with the accents, has proved challenging, sounding like an elderly man struggling between talking and swallowing water, some words were lost. I will say that he put a lot of effort into voices and tones for each character, making it more enjoyable. Audible/publisher did not make it simple to listen to them in order so I may have started in the middle. Overall, good story, well worth the listen!

Short but enjoyable chapter

Really enjoyed the story although it was a little short to be good value, I’m invested in the universe so it was worth reading. The narrator wasn’t great but better than some other books in the series.

One of the best authors out there!

Another bang on great story! I love that this author has not trapped himself in any one specific storyline. He literally has hundreds of stories stuck in his head and shares them with the world! This one is no exception: a werewolf, a bunch of tossers, throw in innocent people getting bullied by the tossers, and you've got a story that will keep you reading long after you should have gone to sleep! And the narrator does a wonderful job bringing each character to life! Fantastic read as always!
