About this listen
Even after pre-ordering the pod that would allow them to play "Glendaria Awakens", Krista and Devin still had to wait months before they were able to experience the newest in VRMMORPG (virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game) technology. The wait was definitely worth it as they entered into a game world that was virtually indistinguishable from real life - apart from the obvious game elements of course.
After starting in a typical starting town, they learned everything they needed to survive in this new world. Journeying through the wilderness outside of town, the duo progressed at a good pace until they arrived at the starting dungeon. Their lives were drastically changed by this place with the unassuming name of "Goblin Cave".
After finding themselves in charge of their very own dungeon, Devin and Krista must figure out how to survive and thrive - all while fending off invading players.
This first book is a stat and table-heavy LitRPG Dungeon Core story - perfect for those who love stats and tables!

good basic lit-rpg story
Decent lit-rpg/dungeoncore story, the only issue is that the constant changes in stats of the main 2 characters are overdone.
Well narrated, but even the good narration cannot quite overcome the constant break in the story from class/player switching overkill.

Twist take on LitRPG
This book was a pleasant surprise with some twists that I was not expecting.
I liked the way that the story is presented and the characters feel quite relatable in many ways.
The performance is to be applauded for covering so many characters while making them distinct.
I am looking forward to future instalments.

Loved it
First time reading this type of book, caught me straight away. If you are new to this type of thing it crosses well with things like "Ready Player One" As a gamer and a MMORPG for 20 years Its great!

Good start to this series
Most of the litrpg books I have read have not been in the dungeon core style, that is where the main character is the dungeon or some entity bound to it in some fashion, but this one worked well for me as the main characters settled in well to their new circumstances despite the manner in which they became trapped in the game.
The narrator gave a very good performance, with pleasant and distinctive tones that helped to enhance my enjoyment of the story.
This book is quite a short one, but during its running time the author manages to progress the story well and makes the main characters interesting enough for me to want to see the subsequent books in the series.

Enjoyable premise
I really enjoyed the story so far. the MC's have interesting limitations they need to work with. This is a great quick series to listen to, a step in to world relationship between players, NPC and characters somewhere in between.

Entertaining and good introduction to the genre
Overall I enjoyed the book and narrators performance. I feel this would be a good book to introduce someone to the dungeon core genre. Stats and classes etc. were well explained.

Fantastic first experience with litrpg
Realy loved this audio book!
Went through it in one go, I simple couldn't put it down. Sarah's voice is very enjoyable to listen to.
A bit too many stats and skills for me to remember them all, but that didn't take anything away from the great time I've had with this audio book!
