Summary

Not bad I enjoyed it.
Nothing to complicated just a easy story to listen to. Going for book two. Oh the narrator was great.

Just what I'd been missing.
Any additional comments?
One of the things I would love more than anything was for Terry Pratchett to have written more city watch stories. Alas, that will never happen.
So imagine my delight to see someone writing something in the same spirit, and writing it well.
And to make it all perfect, have it read by one of my favourite narrators.

Enjoyable tale
An enjoyable tale, not too complex. Well narrated (with the exception of a couple of female voices)
Characters are genuine and relatable in fully imagined world.
Included in the plus catalog when I listened to it. Well worth investing the time to try it

Excellent, fun humoured Read.
That was an absolutely fun and delightful read, which brings you on an adventure of crime, murder, and magic. Dragon Precinct is the first book in the Dragon Precinct series.
The worldbuilding, setting, and plot are fantastic, excellent characters set in a world where humans and elves, dwarves and gnomes, wizards and warriors all live and do business in the thriving, overcrowded port city of Cliff’s End.
In this book, we follow two detectives, Lieutenants Torin ban Wyvald, an ex soldier and Danthres Tresyllione, a half elf, who have been given the lead on investigating the mysterious murder of Gan Brightblade is one of the world’s greatest heroes and a personal friend of the Lord and Lady of Cliff’s End.
When he is found in the grubby lodgings in Dragon Precinct, on the eve of a great quest, Lieutenants Torin ban Wyvald and Danthres Tresyllione soon discover that the crime scene is empty of any forensic evidence—physical or magickal. They have no clues, and the heat is on leading them to all sorts of discovery, crimes, and corruption.
It's a fun read for all fantasy fans of Dungeons and Dragons, very highly recommended...😁🗡🔥⚡️

An absolute hoot.
Never heard of this book before, however it is brilliant. The narration is spot on and reminds of Terry Pratchett discworld series. Bravo to the author and narrator.

Not bad for a free download.
Quite an interesting idea, but the ending was very rushed and too convenient. The last chapter was a bit of an odd afterthought.
I disliked the emphasis on women’s appearance throughout- and the comments about them being ‘ugly’, etc. It smacked of misogyny. It’s also not acceptable to refer to people as ‘exotic’ nowadays!
I wouldn’t have spent a credit on this.

Page Saves The Day at Dragon Precinct
Michael page is one of the best narrators of audiobooks. He really knows how to get into characters and he sounds like he has great fun reading these books.
As for the storyline, although it is called Dragon Precinct, there are no dragons in these books which was rather a let down and only goblins are referred to, otherwise you would not know any exist.
The books are a bit of a let down for us, because they are basically a detective story and more talkie than actual fantasy as we had hoped.
And if it was not for our favourite narrator Michael Page reading these books, we would have lost interest long ago.
