Summary
The final audiobook of The Ragrim Conflict is here.
The war has arrived. Lukrim lured human brides with lies and pretty propaganda, and they will stop at nothing to keep them.
Amira Wicslaw knows this, and she’s still doing what she can to help foment an underground resistance on Lukrim itself. The women at her side were lured to Lukrim with false promises of fresh air, in exchange for their ability to reproduce with the blue aliens. Amira is doing everything she can to keep them out of sight and out of mind, even from their spouses. It’s a relief that most of the time, her own mates of 20 years want nothing to do with her.
Jaxim is a military veteran, sworn to do everything he can to end the Lukrimian threat so the humans can be rescued, but when he meets the human woman running the resistance, his usual MO of "sneak in, sneak out" takes on a whole new meaning. Amira has thrown her own safety entirely out the window to keep her people safe, and she reminds Jaxim too fiercely of his own long-lost mate.
As the lead on his strike team, Jaxim is the one who destroys alien strongholds, but Amira has completely undermined the one around his heart. They are going to have to work together to get Jaxim, his team, and the human hostages out of the line of fire before the war destroys everything they hold dear.
Double Crossing the Alien is the fourth audiobook in the Ragrim Conflict. Each audiobook features a different alien meeting his mate against the background of a looming war.

Good
I received this free for a review.
I found the story to be a bit bitty and confusing at first almost like I had missed the first chapters. Anyway I carried on and enjoyed it on the whole. Not sure the type of writing is for me but not everyone is the same.
I must admit that by the time I had come to the end I was hoping there would be another to find out what happened next.
The narration was absolutely great. Anastasia has a great voice and easy recognition of her characters voices. Well done!

Crossing
I loved the narration of Anastasia Lynne, who brings out the action, characters and romance in this Alien romance. Amira and other human women, find themselves lured to Lukrium by lies. Not just waiting for a rescue they prepared, themselves for when the rescue comes. Jaxion and his team has been tasked killing the monarchy and rescuing the humans. He is shocked to find these female humans are prepared and ready to fight with him and his team. Jaxion find himself attracted to the female leader.
