Summary
When newlywed Penny begins some casual wedding planning, she only wants to help women afford the big day of their dreams. But taming bridezillas turns out to be a full-time occupation, and what began as a hobby becomes a nightmare. Soon Penny is struggling to keep her day job and prevent her own marriage from collapsing: Tired, stressed, and knee-deep in ivory satin, is Penny's life and livelihood hanging by a thread?

lovely light hearted listen
absolutely love the Don't Tell series, I read these when they first came out & thought I'd purchase the Audible version. penny is such a lovely character, even though she had made a few bad Decisions, there was times I was shouting at her, telling her what to do, but that made it even more enjoyable. Penelope Rawlins is a absolutely fabulous narrator, she acted out voices for all the characters really well, except Lou, she sounded like a man. overall really enjoyed it......

very enjoyable
I enjoyed this second book in the series just as much a the first, it was again quite predictable at times and I did get frustrated at some of the situations.
I found myself disliking Mark as this book went on, I thought he was quite whiney and a bit too controlling and judgemental for my liking.
none of that made me dislike the book though, I think when books make you have strong feelings it's a good thing because you're so invested in the story and the characters

Really enjoyable from page one. Story telling is on point and characters were realistic. Had me rooting for penny from the beginning

LOVED IT! 4 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I loved listening to this, the 2nd book in the series was great and it was just as good as the first listen.
I look forward to listening to the 3rd book now. Anna Bell is a great author, I am happy to have came across her books.
I noticed that the narrator was loads better voicing other characters, the ladies actually sounded like women now.
I do recommend this book to listen too as I love Chicklit!

Interesting yet lighthearted topic. Not my usual genre but downloaded the first in the series as a freebie and now I'm continuing through them all. Very enjoyable

Very predictable
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I found that the entire story was really obvious. It was humorous in parts and it did flow well from the last book. Something minor would happen or be said and I felt it was just a bit too obvious what then happened.
If you’ve listened to books by Anna Bell before, how does this one compare?
I felt the first book was a lot better.
Which character – as performed by Penelope Rawlins – was your favourite?
I did like the main character Penny and Henry was good
Do you think Don't Tell the Boss needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
There is scope for a follow on book
Any additional comments?
Very well read
