Summary
Sixteen-year-old Leocadia arrives home from school to find her mom's bloody body. Unaware that the killer still lingers, she rushes to her mother's side, only to be grabbed from behind and then everything fades to black.
After a year of retrograde amnesia and battling personal demons, Leo's dreams are getting worse - she's starting to remember. More bodies are discovered, and they seem to be oddly linked to her mom's unsolved homicide. When Leo allows her friend, Henry, to drag her into the haunted Lucien Mansion, misty ghosts appear, ghosts that just might lead to her mother's murderer.
Will Leo let her memories threaten her into a relapse or, will she fight to find her mother's killer - only to become his next victim?

Breathe
Caitlin Kelly narration was perfect for this book.
Sixteen-year-old Leocadia comes home to find her mother's dead body and without thinking rushes to her mother's side. She is then grabbed by an unknown person. That's all she remembers. After she grows up, she goes to the haunted Lucien Mansion. Will she find the answers she is looking.
This book has it all...romance, mystery, suspense.
Nothing like a haunted house in a small town to get you thinking. Wonderful mystery!

The start of this book opens up in a graveyard with a male friend who I thought was going to rape Leo from the start. It was quite unsettling and the fact she remained friends with him and put me at a bit of unease. This introduction ruined the book a little for me but nevertheless I continued listening. And then there was casual references to alcohol and drugs throughout which put a further dampener on the book - what did they contribute to the story?
Despite these flaws, the characters in the book were well developed and believable. The narration was 10/10, and the story line itself was interesting, with basically everyone as a suspect, i just had to know who the killer was.

Don’t forget to Breathe
This was definitely a rollercoaster ride. I went back and forth on who I felt like was going to be the bad guy. And if I’m being honest until the authors little clues I would not have suspected part of the outcome. And the other part never crossed my mind. Loved the book fantastic listen and loved the narration!

Captivating story
Somehow I kept expecting mythical monsters to be part of this storyline. The writer keeps you guessing until the end. I really enjoyed the plot and the complicated characters. The story is easy to follow and listen to. The narration is good.

A really good plot that kept me guessing
This book really kept me guessing all of the way through until the reveal - I loved the intertwining of the main plot and the characters’ everyday lives too. The narration was also great at bringing the characters to life.
