Wow

Worth a 14 year wait to get the whole story. Frightening retelling of this adventure in all sorts of ways. Beautifully put together and well presented.
All these novelisations of past episodes bring to life the characters within, and this is no exception definitely five stars

Great Story Poor Performance

I enjoy Maureen's narration until character impressions are attempted, then I am completely taken out of the story. My main disappointment with this audiobook is how different the delivery is in comparison to the show. Specifically, a majority of The Doctor's dialogue in which the delivery of the lines is crucial to the enjoyment of the script for me.

I hope they make an audio drama of this one day. Or the inclusion of additional narrators to diversify the characters, making them noticeably different from each other.

Great story, narrator could be better

I was so excited for this to release. Finally we get to know what the Doctor was thinking in this important moment in ten’s history. And the story didn’t disappoint. It’s awesome with tension and excitement and it was worth the wait. The reason I’m putting only three stars at performance was that I’m not entirely happy with narrator Maureen’s performance. It was not like the episode and, honestly, a bit weird at times. No offense to the amazing actress, but in my opinion, it would’ve been better with another narrator. But other than that, awesome.
