Best book I have ever read!
I felt so many emotions while reading this. I LOVE the title disfigured. As a fat neurodivergent person I totally relate to her experience.

Engaging and important
I have a passion for fairytales and folktales, and also have young relatives just reaching the age of watching Disney movies. Nothing makes you more aware of the questionable values within popular fairytales like reading or watching one with a small child for the first time! I found this a thought-provoking, engaging book, and highly recommend it. It is a very good performance from the narrator, too.

a beautifully written book. Heard about it on Spirits podcast, and I will definitely be suggesting it at my next book club.

Moving, Raw, and Fantastic
loved this book so much that I will be buying it in physical format so I can highlight and annotate it and flip to it many many times in the future. A must read for anyone interested in fairytales or disabilities.
