Summary
Isabelle
Just when I was beginning to trust my husband, he betrayed me.
Just when I thought I was falling in love he showed me the beast he truly is.
I understand his thirst for revenge. But I don’t want to play this game of pawn and puppet master.
No matter how his hands make my heart race and my body crave his devil’s touch, I won’t give in.
I love his daughter.
But I can’t let myself fall in love with her father.
Jericho
I have exactly what I want. Revenge.
Soon everything the Bishops have will be mine.
But it will cost me more than I bargained.
Isabelle Bishop hates me. As she should.
I know what I am. And now she does too.
But falling in love with my wife was never part of my plan.

Absolutely brilliant
I was absolutely glued to both books. The narration pulled you into the story and I cried buckets as well as smiling at the more tender moments. The 🌶🌶 scenes were really well done and panty melting. Jericho was quite brutal but was a ‘teddy bear’ (to quote the author) underneath. Thoroughly recommend. I’m going to definitely going to get more books from this author.

Book 2... Who needs enemies when you have family
I really enjoyed this book, just as good as book 1 in the series. You’ve all heard the saying “Who needs enemies when you have family” well this story will thrust you into the depths of family lies. The story was interesting and there was one boring moment. The main characters are lovable in their own ways. I’m a sucker for a happy ending and this book didn’t disappoint. I was engaged throughout and didn’t want to stop listening.
Natasha Knight is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. Her ability to write dark romance and bring life to a story is what sets her apart from Others.
The narrators did a fantastic job and deserve a pat on the back. They bring feelings and emotional responses to the story. They bring the story to life.

another brilliant story
I lived everyt second of it except for the parts when Jericho was really horrible to Isabel. Till almost the end he didn't relent with his cruelty, but deep down he loved her. And at the end he was the Jericho I knew in Dante's story, dark but not cruel, he really changed when it was all over.
As for the narrators, as I said in my other reviews I don't see the point of having a Male and a female narrator if they don't read the dialogue according to the gender. Trevor Murphy's voice was really good for Jericho and all the other male characters but it was awful for the female characters especially Angelique's, Jericho's 5yo daughter, she sounded like a man.
