Summary
Some people have no appreciation of the fundamentals of the fame game…
MCM Investigations are back! Although Brigit isn’t sure for how long. Money is tight, business is slow, and her partner, Paul, has been temporarily crippled due to her attempts to be in two places at once; one place being at the bottom of a ladder. It’s therefore manna from heaven when an old friend comes to them in need of help.
Deccie Fadden is that rarest of things–someone who experienced a brilliant lockdown. He stumbled into his perfect job, where his ability to have an opinion on absolutely everything is, for once, an advantage. Now he is wildly popular and unpopular. Anyone who thinks you can’t be both at the same time has never experienced the joys of social media. It’s all fun and games until someone decides to kill him, which is when things get really interesting.
Deccie Must Die is audiobook two in the MCM Investigations series, a spinoff from the Amazon bestselling, critically acclaimed, and numerically infuriating Dublin Trilogy.

Another brilliant read!
So funny and brilliantly narrated, as always. Absolutely love the whole series and just read them all again for the second time.
Do yourself a favour and have a listen, complete escapism from a trying world, you’ll be hooked!!

Brilliant
There should be six stars available for this narrator! Surely Morgan C Jones is one of the most talented around? Another brilliant instalment from Caimh McDonnell. Just when you think he has written all the best characters he possibly could he causally chucks another two or three or more into each book!!! My only slight grumble is the teaser which suggested Bunny may have risen from the grave….maybe in the next book? Please. Caimh….

Loved this
After a few books over in the states, I was really happy to be back in Dublin with the MCM team. Deccy Must Die was great and I didn't want it to end. Nice to see some very realistic character development in Deccy.

More clever plots and jokes
Just a great follow up to previous books. Craziest situations and how the characters respond and grow is always fascinating.

Great funny book as always!
I love these characters so much, I especially like the Nora- Bridget friendship and would love more of that! Bunny is always missed and I shed a tear when Deccie was talking to his grave! I knew who the protagonist was early doors but it was still a great listen. Narration is always AMAZING!

A Tonic In Book Form. Brilliant!
I love these books. I’ve enjoyed each one I’ve listened too but Decide Must Die I think is the best.
I did miss Maggie but the last pages made up for her absence, hilarious.

Brilliant as usual
I love all Caimh's books but these last two are less violent which suits me down to the ground. Still great whodunits and sooo funny.
I'm always intrigued by the way he portrays all the different characters and their struggles to get by in a very realistic world.
Morgan's narration is spot on as usual as he brings all the characters to life.

Why did it end…
I loved this book, basically I’m sad it’s over because now I can’t be with the gang!

I just love all of these books. They never disappoint. The narration is perfection. Author and narrator are true masters of their crafts.
